Dear Students, Parents, and Stakeholders of Government Degree College Beerwah,

I am honored to be a part of this lively and progressive institution and to have the chance to contribute to its growth and development. Education is the foundation of any society, and I am determined to ensure that our college offers the best possible learning experience to our students.

The New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is a landmark achievement in the history of education in India, and I am happy to announce that our college is fully in sync with its goals and objectives. The NEP emphasizes on providing holistic, multidisciplinary education that equips students for the challenges of the 21st century. Our college is devoted to nurturing critical thinking, creativity, and a global outlook among our students, and we are committed to equal access to quality education for all.

Besides our commitment to NEP-2020, our college has been striving hard to improve and modernize its infrastructure. We have acquired a college bus, installed digital boards, and constructed three new classroom huts. Work on the library-cum-lecture block, parking, and multipurpose sports hall is also in progress. We have also successfully offered two skill courses under the guidance of the Skill Development Council of India, and have been assigned an IGNOU study center and NCC wing (both boys and girls wing).

I would like to express my gratitude to the faculty, ministerial staff, College local fund staff, and civil society for their steadfast support and commitment to our college. I am optimistic that together we will ensure that our students receive a world-class education that prepares them for the challenges of the future.

I look forward to collaborating with all of you to make Government Degree College Beerwah a leader in education both in Jammu & Kashmir as well as beyond.
