Muhammad Iqbal Bhat currently working as Assistant Professor (Computer Applications) in the Department of Higher Education J&K (UT) has earned Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) from Islamic University of Science and Technology Awantipora. He has also qualified the State Eligibility Test (SET) conducted by J&k SET Agency. He has over 8 years of teaching experience to his credit. Before his appointment in the Higher Education Department, he worked at South Campus, the University of Kashmir, and the Islamic University of Science and Technology. He has also over 4 years of non-teaching experience from the Planning, Development, and Monitoring Department, Government of J&K. Prof. Iqbal is passionate to contribute to the field of Computer Science both theoretically and practically. He is an enthusiastic professional with a background in academic advisement. In addition to being an academician, he has a good research background as well. His research interests include Cryptography, Blockchain technology, and data security. He has some international publications to his credit and has recently published in Springer Singapore.
