National Technology Day 2023:

Theme: "School to Startups- Igniting Young Minds to Innovate"

National Technology Day is a yearly celebration held on May 11th to honor the achievements of India's scientists, commemorating the successful nuclear detonation tests in May 1998. The theme for National Technology Day 2023 is "School to Startups- Igniting Young Minds to Innovate," highlighting the significance of encouraging young minds for a brighter tomorrow. The event will witness the inauguration of projects worth over Rs 5800 crore, dedicated to advancing scientific and technological progress, to be laid by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the entire financial year 2023-24.

Join us for an exciting event to celebrate National Technology Day under the Banner of G20.

The following activities have been planned:

• A welcome address by the Principal, Prof. Syed Iffat Ara, to kick-off the event
• Webcast by Hon'ble Prime Minister addressing the National on the ocassion.
• Two students from the Department of Computer Science will deliver speeches on the impact of technology on education and society
• Mr. Javaid ul Islam, faculty Dept. of Computer Sciences, will deliver a speech on Technology Education: A Gateway to Entrepreneurship.
• A speech by Prof. Muhammad Iqbal Bhat, the head Department of Computer Sciences followed by an interactive question and answer session.
• The event will conclude with a vote of thanks from Dr. Firdous Ahmad Dar, NSS Programme Officer.
