Under the banner of Gandhi Jayanti, the Debates and Seminar Committee in collaboration with College Library organized an event titled, “Starting/Augmenting of Gandhian gallery in College” on 30-09-2023. The event was participated by Faculty members and a number of students of the college

The Debates and Seminar Committee in collaboration with Library of the college organized a visit to public library having dedicated section to Mahtma Gandhi on 18-09-2023.

Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated yearly on 2 October. It is a national holiday, observed in all of its states and territories of the Union Of India. Gandhi Jayanti is marked by prayer services and tributes all over India, including at Gandhis memorial, Raj Ghat, in New Delhi where he was cremated.

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming "Digital J&K Week 2023," a week-long event dedicated to celebrating the strides made in the field of digital transformation and innovation in Jammu & Kashmir. This event is organized by Department of Computer Sciences in collaboration with NSS Wing of the College and is scheduled to take place from August 31st to September 6th, 2023, at Government Degree College Beerwah.

Today on the 13th of September 2022, the Department of Chemistry organized an extension lecture on Drug Abuse. On this occasion, Dr. Ali Mohammed Assistant Professor of Chemistry delivered an extensive lecture on drug abuse and its implications on society.

The Department of Computer Sciences, Government Degree College Beerwah is organizing a one day workshop titled "Effective Usage of SPARROW portal for PAR Submission" on 10/05/2023 2:00 pm in the Computer Science Department for the teaching staff of the college.

Join the National Level Conference on Social Protection for an Inclusive Development, organized by the Department of Social Work, GDC Beerwah in collaboration with ICSSR North Western-Regional Centre. The conference aims to explore the implementation and implications of social protection policies in India, and their role in reducing poverty and promoting economic and social development.

On 9th of March 2023 GDC Beerwah organised a Leadership Development Workshop for its students in Small Conference Room of the College. The program was organised by the Department of Social Work. The program was led by Mr. Nigel Heywood – a leadership trainer from Australia. The program was attended by the 52 students of different semester of the college.

Govt. Degree College Beerwah celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th of March 2023. The theme of the program was #EmbraceEquity.
